Account and data deletion

You can initiate permanent account deletion directly in Bubble Team.

Delete an account in the app

1. Open Bubble Team and sign in.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Account.
4. Select Delete account.
5. Review the consequences, choose whether to request deletion of sent messages where available, and confirm.

What deletion does

• permanently disables the account;
• removes the account from joined rooms;
• removes or anonymizes profile information where supported;
• requests deletion or redaction of messages when selected and technically supported;
• removes account data and encryption backups where supported by the homeserver.

What may remain

Messages or files already delivered to other room participants may remain in their devices or room history. Security records, backups or legally required information may be retained for a limited period. Backup data may remain for up to [INSERT ACTUAL BACKUP RETENTION PERIOD].

Unable to access the account?

Contact work@s-k-s.com.ua from the email associated with the account. Include the Matrix user identifier. Never send a password or recovery key by email. We may request verification before processing the request.

Requests are normally completed within 3 days, unless additional time or retention is required by law.
